Dinabandhu, directed by Munin Barua, bagged the best feature film award, whereas Kadambari, directed by Bani Das, bagged the popular film award. Actor Jatin Bora got the best actor award for his performance in Kadambari. The best actress award was bagged by Konki Bordoloi (Anurag). For her moving performance in Laaz, Jaffrin bagged the best child artiste award. Jubeen Garg bagged the best male playback singer for his rendition in Rong.
