Assam Chief minister Sri Tarun Gogoi gave a short presence but had to go to attend othe programme as Sonia Gandhi is coming to Guwahti for 3 days .
The meeting was addressed by Sri Kamal Nath AICCC Gen Secretary, Sri Pawan Singh Ghatowar, President, APPCC(I), Smt Hemprabha Saikia Minister of cultural, and Sri Bhuwneswar Kalita MLA. The group of ladies from Sri Jain mahila samaj, Guwahati Gosala, Terapanti Samaj, Jat Samaj and many other organsations felicited the guests.

While thanking Sri G.L.Agrwalla president of GLPSC and Sri Vijay Goenka, Vijay Daga organiser, Sri Galhot spoke about the performace of Congress Government in Rajasthan and give the impression to the gathering that it is Congress who can give better government.

He appealed to all Rajstahni to contribute for the development of Assam.He aslo informed that direct train from Guwahati to Jaipur is in the offing and he will make all efforts to make it daily.
