The exhibition will take place in the ball room of Cannon Hall museum of Barnsley and all the art work will be up for sale.

Hospice fund raiser, Sue Miller said, "We are absolutely delighted that Runima has agreed to stage this exhibition on our behalf."

Born in Assam, India Runima came to live in Barnsley in 1975 where her husband Prakash Kakoty is a medical general practitoner. She taught in Sheffield for a number of years but now devotes all her time to painting.

Comedian and radio personality Tony Capstick will open the exhibition on March 15 for a special preview evening.

Runima had a sucessful exhibition to raise fund for the local Rotary club last year. Some of Runima`s art work can be viewed at her website http://Art-for-charity.co.uk which is available on this site.
